Mpwerirwe Obed
Mpwerirwe is an accomplished auditor and Accountant with over 20 years of experience. He is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a Master of Science Degree in Project Planning, a Bachelor of Science Degree, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and management, A postgraduate Diploma in Cooperative Management and development and a postgraduate Diploma in Theology
He has rich working experience in Finance and management having served moved through the ranks in Hima Cement Limited to a level of Financial Controller from 2000 to 2012. He has unmatched management skills, knowledge, and competencies at local and national level having studied and qualified with an internationally recognised course if ACCA leading to a certification by the Institute of Certified accountants of Uganda and registering an audit firm Obed Associates approved and regulated by ICPAU since 2016. Having served with a reputable Global healthy Collaborative, a body working with Mbarara University of Science and Technology as a Finance manager from 2018 to 2019 in charge of a 12 billion dollar grant to uplift the health systems.
Mpwerirwe strives for professionalism and business development in the community through improved internal controls and strategic planning. He is passionate about value addition innovations and most importantly those that address Challenges in Finance analysis and planning, record keeping and Paradigm shift to Uplift Ugandan businesses and organisations.
In a bid to expand my horizons in development, he has taken business trips to benchmark best practices and lessons in the industry in Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria.
